DEDICATION
This page is devoted to showing the Favorite Tweets I have written. It is dedicated to Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) on the 177th anniversary of his birth. Twain’s writing style, sense of irony and human insight is still admired by many today. I think that the closest entrepreneur to Twain today in terms of plain spoken style and hard-hitting insight would be Ted Turner, which in itself is ironic in that I think Ted is increasingly resembling Mark Twain in other ways as well. Of course, I am referring to Twain’s quote: “Buy land, they’re not making it anymore.” I don’t think Mr. Turner would mind the comparison, and if he ever wants to send me a pic, I’ll post it here if he buys me a bison burger. I can’t pick a favorite amongst Twain’s quotes, but I like this one:
“Wit is the sudden marriage of ideas which before their union were not perceived to have relation.” – Mark Twain
I’ll do the best I can with my tweets posted below. These are my creations, but there may well be similar tweets. I don’t claim absolute knowledge over every tweet that every Tweeter has ever tweeted.
