Ed helped establish LoJack as the premier provider of location-based wireless and data solutions for a new consumer market and the firm’s first health sector venture: care and rescue of Alzheimer’s and autistic wanderers. Ed led Customer Operations, designing and implementing new business processes and information systems amongst nine functions, four enterprises, and two countries. Chief among his challenges was launching a new service-sale business model while improving the ongoing product sales model, and negotiating the purchase of legacy systems critical to launch goals.
Before LoJack, as a consultant, Ed’s commitments included:
- Catalyzing a GigE wireless services start-up (MetroNext, Inc.)
- Planning a Fortune 100 communications network services firm’s international business

Endorsed as a core line of business, BPM produced over $3 Billion in annual sales for EDS. He also created the corporate decision model used to target entry into new international markets. (HP bought EDS in 2008.)
Ed led EDS’ first business unit in Colombia, South America from start-up to managed growth as General Manager with P&L responsibility to manage billing solutions delivery for the world’s fastest growing (market penetration) cellular carrier, Celumóvil.
